Online Learning with Ms. Watters!

May 11, 2020
Greetings 5th & 6th graders!
This week let's do some computer graphics assuming you have MS Paint or something similar on your computer or device.
Or use pen, pencil (colored pencil, and marker, too) and paper is also ok!

1. Create a cartoon character that is a Stay-at-home (distance learning) hero or heroine.
2. Using at least 4 drawings to tell the story of your cartoon hero (or villain).

I've been getting some amazing artwork back! and all your drawings will be returned to you.
If it's ok with your mum, send a photo to the website of your Mother's Day drawing!
Have fun and enjoy this assignment. I look forward to your stories and art!

Research Carravagio and Monet, looking at some of their art and biographies.

Are you with the penguins?
or do you prefer Monet?
Why?
This is a written assignment due May 26th.
*Please include a brief summary of what you learned about the artist.

Enjoy!
Ms Watters

Last lesson of the year!
Greetings artists!
This takes 2 people..can be you & a family member or friend.

Step 1
Start with the person in back drawing one line on the paper your partner has taped to their back:

Step 2
Your partner draws the line they feel on their back.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 until the drawing is finished. Take your time, only one line at a time.
